The IPP_NORMAL_ERROR is the amount by which the length of a vector that is supposed to be normalized may differ from 1.0. If the difference is more than this amount, the vector should not be considered to be normalized. With the current setting (0.0001), numbers representing vector components will have to be accurate to at least five decimal places. If only four decimal place accuracy is used, rounding errors in computing vector length will frequently be greater than the IPP_NORMAL_ERROR. - Enumeration values:
